Description : This tender is for the refurbishment of Out Skerries Lighthouse is located on the Isle of Bound Skerry at a position of 60° 25.469'N, 000° 43.683'W which is the most easterly of the Out Skerries archipelago a property owned by Northern Lighthouse Board. The lighthouse tower is the only building on the island of Bound Skerry. The island can be accessed by contractor boat from an agreed point (Lerwick or Out Skerry) and is also accessed by Helicopter, the journey is approximately 20 miles from Tingwall Airport. Works consist of carrying out a full Asbestos Refurbishment/Demolition Survey on all NLB operational buildings prior to commencement. Testing of the existing 'HCL' fall arrest system and re-certification if necessary before use and provide all relevant test certification for record and audit purposes. D... - Documents :
