Abstract: This contract will be awarded on behalf of the The Department of Health (DoH), Strategic Planning and Performance Group (SPPG) in Northern Ireland. It will be for the provision of Counselling and therapeutic interventions for adult survivors of sexual violence and abuse. The service is in place to support Adult survivors of sexual violence and abuse that includes the range of diverse groups outlined in Section 75 Northern Ireland Act 19981. It is specifically seeking to support those individuals who have moved on from the immediate crisis stage in their journey, and for those who are at the stage where therapeutic intervention has the best potential for a positive outcome for the individual. • The service is not for perpetrators of sexual abuse or violence - irrespective of whether there has been involvement with the criminal justice system or not • The service is for adults aged 18 and over only The se...
