The proposed Scapa Deep Water Quay and Scapa Flow offer the optimal location for a major assembly hub for fixed and floating wind substructures and turbine integration; as well as smaller scale manufacturing; and wet storage. Suitable for other sectoral activities, this infrastructure is essentially aimed to be a multi-user facility for any industry that requires deep-water berthing and large laydown space.
