Abstract: ** THIS NOTICE IS FOR MARKET ENGAGEMENT PURPOSES ONLY **The Kent County Council (KCC) wishes to engage with suppliers regarding capacity in the market to provide future organic (green) waste reprocessing services.KCC-s existing contracts for these services are currently due to end in phases (August 2024, March 2026 and August 2028).The current contracts are split into lots by geographical regions as set out below, but this is subject to change following the commissioning strategy and/or market engagement feedback.• East Kent• Mid Kent• West Kent• Southwest KentThe current intention is to re-procure these services as a single contract, with multiple lots, however this is subject to change.
