- The Trust operates the Lane Fox respiratory unit at St Thomas' Hospital, London, a tertiary care referral centre for the management of chronic respiratory failure. The Trust has a requirement for community-based step-down facilities from the Lane Fox respiratory unit to increase capacity and support patient recovery. Specifically, the step down facility will provide highly specialised satellite respiratory services for ventilated patients (invasive mechanical ventilation and non-invasive ventilation) for mainly single organ failure patients.
