Abstract: - Construction and fit-out of a Heat Transfer Station (up to 37 MW capacity) on an EfW site comprising District Heating pumps- Construction of a 7.5 km heat transmission main (up to 400mm diameter)- Installation will involve a mixture of rural roads, farmland and public highway- Tunnelling (currently proposed method is pipe jacking) required under dual carriageway and in proximity to operational airport- A pipe bridge over the River Clyst- Supply and installation of 2 no heat transfer interfaces:1) Science Park, requiring separate plant room enclosure adjacent to existing substation2) Cranbrook/Skypark: within existing 3rd party energy centre
