Abstract: The SPS has a wide range of Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) throughout its estate which require to be fully operational at all times.The Contract shall support this requirement by providing IT capability, specialist support to site engineers, safe and suitable planned maintenance activities, inspection, test, certification and reactive maintenance services.The service will be delivered in line with British Standards, statutory regulations, manufacturer-s instructions and the operational requirements of each Establishment.The Contract will also support the aims of the SPS Carbon Management Strategy by helping to reduce energy consumption through effective control, metering and monitoring of energy utilising systems such as heating, hot water and air handling.There are currently 13 directly managed prisons, 2 community custody units, a college (SPSC), a combined central store and national training facility (Fauldhouse), and an administrative headquarters (One Lochside Avenue, Edinburgh).In...
