Description : Somerset West and Taunton Council own land within the centre of Taunton known as the Firepool site, which is a key Town Centre Regeneration Area.The Firepool site comprises 6 blocks. Block 3 is the second Block on the site to be brought forward and will be procured via a Traditional Procurement Route. SWT is seeking to appoint a main contarctor to deliver Block 3. The scope of works can be summarised as follows:• Creation of a 4 storey, 1,800m² office with Commercial Units at Ground Floor Level and a Changing Places Facility.• Development of an 18m wide Boulevard to connect Trenchard Way to Canal Road.• Associated Public Realm works.• Associated Highways works.
