Description : The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC) Council are seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from experienced and qualified suppliers to support our borough with enhancing and optimising our CCTV network infrastructure. As a Council committed to ensuring the safety and security of people who live, work or visit our borough, we recognise the importance of maintaining a robust and efficient CCTV surveillance system.Currently, the Council operates under a fibre circuit where the cost of these Services is circa £50-60k annually. We are exploring opportunities to innovate and improve our CCTV network by scoping:1.What is available on the market for the continuation of this provision in RBKC.2.Exploring what alternative solutions are available such as alternative fibre routing or 4G/5G networking. The Council has 58 Camera's presently run through rented fibre circuits across the borough, which route back to a central server room.
