Project Description : Supplier Engagement Event for the Evaluation of the Shared Outcomes Fund 'Offshore Wind Enabling Actions Programme'.
The Offshore Wind Enabling Actions Programme (OWEAP) aims to support the deployment of offshore wind in line with ambitious government targets for renewable power, while protecting and enhancing the marine environment.
Funded by HMT-s Shared Outcomes Fund, OWEAP is a 2-year programme, led by the Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra), delivered in partnership with the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), and supported by collaboration with other relevant Government Departments, Statutory Nature Conservation Bodies (SNCBs), regulators and offshore wind developers.
The procurement for the Evaluation of OWEAP aims to provide the programme team with evidence of whether and how OWEAP is achieving it-s desired outputs and outcomes, by observing the process and measuring the impact. The evaluation will also provide useful information as to whether the programme has delivered value for money.
