Description : Following a successful four year programme of Active Access walking and cycling initiatives being delivered in East Sussex, an invitation to apply for Grant funding for 21/22 has been received from the DFT to provide similar initiatives for walking and cycling programmes. The service are in the process of making their application for an allocated sum of funding. The COVID-19 pandemic has also had huge impact on the way people work, socialise and, ultimately, travel. For some people and organisations this has meant that they have been able to re-think about how they travel and cycling and walking has become more of an option.
