Brent Council is conducting soft market engagement with relevant service providers in relation to its Parking and Traffic Enforcement Services (including Car Parks, On-Street, CCTV, IT provision, cashless parking and permit management) arrangements from 1 April 2023 onward, when the Council-s existing contract for these services is due to end. The Council wishes to understand the potential level of interest within the private sector to provide these services in Brent. It would also like to engage specifically on the procurement options it is considering for the contract, the intended contract scope, and how service providers might operate alongside the Council-s Client Operations, Representations and Appeals and Highways services that would deliver a proportion of related functions (e.g. Traffic orders, lines/signs maintenance, safe school streets, low traffic neighbourhoods and CPZs).
