Description : Energy Management Systems for Schools PilotSchools spend around £630m per annum on energy and collectively, they have a significant carbon footprint, over a fifth of the whole public sector. The Schools Commercial Team (SCT) believe that by developing evidence-based solutions that meet schools needs there is a significant opportunity to reduce utility demand and deliver savings for the sector as well as provide energy efficiency opportunities.Objective:This pilot will provide insight into the effectiveness of the best form of energy management intervention package based on data analytics using Smart Meter or Automated Meter Reading (AMR) meter data from a school's own estate.
