Description : The West Yorkshire Combined Authority is seeking training providers to deliver an adult training programme designed to encourage and support employed individuals into the Leeds City region key and growth sectors of digital, construction and engineering. The training will include employer input and engagement at every stage to ensure the content is ‘fit for purpose- and gives direct lines of sight to progression and employment opportunities. The target learner audience will include career changers, returners and under-utilised graduates. The provider/s must be able to offer a flexible delivery model of both face-to-face and virtual. Training programmes must be available to learners across Leeds City Region including York and North Yorkshire Delivery is anticipated to commence in October 2020 with an end date of December 2021 Applications from consortia will be encouraged, but suppliers cannot include any sub-contracting arrangements.
