Description : The EPMA has now become a key priority for the Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust-s informatics strategy. The trust are interested in suppliers who can provide an EPMA will provide the capability of comprehensive medicines prescribing and administration functionality with appropriate decision support to all our care settings. To guide improved prescribing choices based on clinical parameters such as laboratory results, age/weight, allergy status and medicines interactions as well as promoting compliance with local and national prescribing guideline and formularies. The solution must include full interoperability to allow data integration between hospital systems (pathology results, electronic care record, etc.) and wider healthcare systems and confirm to current up to date best practice guidance from NHS Digital.
