Description : ORE Catapult intends to expand its cable testing capabilities by asking a contractor to provide a detailed design for a dynamic cable compression test rig that is capable of simulating in-service dynamic loads for floating offshore wind (FOW) applications.Fundamentally, the rig design is expected to comprise of:• A steel frame.• End terminations.• Bending Actuators.• Horizontal tension/compression Actuator.• The cable specimen (during testing).• Ancillary mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control system
