- Diversity Mural - London Borough Of Sutton
The London Borough of Sutton are seeking to commission a suitably experienced community artist, or artist collective, to develop, design and produce a mural-style piece of public art for Sutton town centre. The aim of this new commission is to represent and celebrate diversity within the Borough of Sutton. This Commission is open to all artists, regardless of experience and outputs, but it must be clear from a submitted tender response that the individual, or collective, has the drive and ambition in terms of their artistic skill and technical knowledge to meet the requirements of this commission. A webinar is scheduled for the 19 March 2021 at 2-4 pm to assist Tenderers with any queries in relation to the bid or procurement process. If you are interested in attending this webinar, please send a message through the Procontract messaging system by 17 march 2021 at 5pm, so that a link for the webinar can be sent to you. The fee to be paid to artists for this commission is £5,250, this is to cover all costs and expenses in relation to their time for the initial community engagement workshops, design development, and all production costs.
