Abstract: Northern Gas Networks are seeking to establish a contract with a single supplier to supply and maintain/service circa 200-250 gas detection units for use on their network across the 7 year contract term.The contract will be awarded for the initial term of 3 years with the option to extend a further 4 x 1 years.The gas detection unit MUST as a minimum meet the following criteria and be ready to use on the gas network at the point of contract award: • Have an infrared sensor• Must have a GPS and Bluetooth Interface as we wish to be able to track the resources route when surveying sites, with the device able to plot both route swept and any readings that aredetected on a print out / digital report that can be uploaded to a cloud dashboard• Have colour and audible alarm indicators• Must be able to detect readings from 1ppm to 100% vol of gas• Must be able to perform a gas quality check to determine type of gas being detected (mine, swamp, sewer or natural gas)• Must be able to detect all of the following - ... - Documents :
