Abstract: Newport City Council invites tenders for the provision of services to develop a City wide policy and design guidance for the installation of on-street electrical vehicle charging points, combined with a rollout plan and recommended delivery and operating model.The 5 required outputs are:1. On-street Charging Review2. Policy Note: Content for a brief on-street charging policy note (external facing) that states the why, but also what the Council will and won-t allow in terms of installation of off-street charging.3. Design Guidance: On-street EV charging highway design guidance specific to the city of Newport4. Implementation Plan: highlighting the most suitable and beneficial areas to install on street chargers within the city5.
