Description : TENDERS ARE INVITED from suitable contractors for the installation of Solar PV Panels and Battery Storage at Tiptree Community Centre. Tiptree Community Centre has a large South-South East Facing roof of recent construction (2011). The site has been assessed as viable for Solar PV panels, and as such, Tiptree Parish Council would like to invite bids to provide a system comprising at least 32 PV modules (with attendant optimisers) feeding a battery pack of at least 12Kw. The system is then to interface with the current three Phase Electrical System onsite.Bid Requirements:1. proposed installation designs; including fixings to the roof and roof support structures; 2. estimated system production and consumption (similar to the reports enclosed); 3. estimated savings, based on an annual usage of approximately 12Mw.; 4. estimated lifespan; and 5. ongoing maintenance requirements and estimated costs. 6. Extras: The Parish Council have two items on their "wish list" of aspirational goals:(a) Consideration of an Electric Vehicle charging point of at least 10Kw/h, and (b) A reduction in the Gas charge incurred through underfloor heating of the site.
