Description : Leicester City Council invites Tenders from suitably qualified and experienced organisations for the provision of the Healthwatch Leicester and Leicestershire service to be commissioned by Leicester City Council for itself and Leicestershire County Council. The Health and Social Care Act (March 2012) required local authorities to establish local Healthwatch services in their localities. The Councils are required to purchase a local Healthwatch service from a social enterprise or body corporate. The statutory functions of Healthwatch include:-a. promoting and supporting the involvement of local people in the provision of local health and social care services. b.
