More... The Authority S Adult Learning &Amp; Skills Service Provides Support For Young People With Complex Needs As Part Of A High Needs Study Programme. However, Some Of The Support Required Is Of A Specialist Nature And Therefore Cannot Be Met By The Authority. In Order To Meet These Service Delivery Requirements, The Authority Is Required To Sub-Contract Some Of Aspects Of The Hnsp To Specialist Providers. This Contract Will Provide Provision Through An Approved Provider List Which Will Enable The Authority To Call-Off With Approved Providers For Specific Areas Of Learning Support And Skills. North Yorkshire County Council, Adult Learning And Skills Service Are Hosting An Event To Give Organisations Information On The Launch Of The New Round Of The Preferred Provider List, This Is Specifically For The Education And Training For Young People 16 To 25 Years With An Education Health And Care Plan, Who Require High Needs Provision. Our High Needs Learning Pathway Is A Person-Centred Programme Which Supports The Individual Young Person To Develop And Progress, Based On A Clear Understanding Of Their Own Needs And Aspirations. The Purpose Of Our High Needs Learning Pathway Is To Enable Young People To Access Local Learning Opportunities And Wherever Possible Independent Living And/Or Employment.
