Project Description :- The purpose of this Early Engagement Notice is to inform you about a forthcoming market engagement event related to the delivery of Acclimatisation Services for International Teachers. Research has shown that international teachers can struggle to adapt to living and teaching in a new country but that the right early support can help them adapt more quickly and to thrive in English classrooms alongside our domestic workforce. It is the Department for Education`s (DfE) intention to undertake a procurement exercise to appoint a suitably experienced organisation/s to deliver the acclimatisation services from March 2022. We welcome the opportunity to engage with prospective suppliers to understand the market, contribute to the development of our requirements, receive feedback on our proposals and develop our route to market to deliver acclimatisation services. All interested prospective suppliers are welcome. A virtual Market Engagement event will take place on Thursday 01 July 2021 commencing at 10.00 - 11.30. Limited 15-minute slots will be available between 12.00-16.00 for one-to-one discussions. If you wish to be allocated a slot, please state your preferred time and these will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
