Description : 3117/512/JN/NAMRC/21 Nuclear AMRC Disc Laser Upgrades The University of Sheffield wishes to invite tenders for a SUBJECT MATTER on behalf of the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre, Castings Group at Catcliffe, South Yorkshire. Scope of Requirement Use and Description The Nuclear AMRC are tendering to implement two upgrades to an existing disc laser cell currently in place, with the supply, installation, and commissioning of the following equipment which are required to be compatible with the existing cell: o Co-axial wire feed optical processing head (CWFH) o Laser beam oscillation optical processing (BOH) head o In-process key-hole monitoring (IPM) system Upgrade 1 A co-axial wire feed optical processing head (CWFH) for use in additive manufacturing and dissimilar metal overlaying (cladding).
