- 20-309 Cctv Upgrade - Market Engagement Exercise
The Council has identified capital funding to support an upgrade, primarily of current Community Safety CCTV system, but considering all available assets. The primary objectives are listed below:
• Review and upgrade, where possible, fixed (Primarily Community Safety) CCTV units, ensuring as a minimum current coverage is maintained.
• Upgrade, as appropriate and necessary, the hardware and software associated with the (community safety) system.
• Seek to link the re-deployable units to a ‘live monitoring capability-.The purpose of this exercise is to engage with the supply base to test the current funding available against products currently on the market-place and to use the information gained to assist in defining the scope, including final budget, of the future tender.
