- Aston is seeking to procure waste management services. To assist with the initial stages of planning, these services have been grouped into the following lots: 1. General Waste and Recycling: - General waste - Dry mixed recyclables - Paper/Carboard - Plastics - Wood - Metals - Food - Batteries - Bulbs - Aerosols/pressurised containers - Finishing products (including paint) - WEEE waste - Glass - Green Waste - Animal carcasses - Fridges/freezers 2. Hazardous, Chemical and Radioactive Waste - Chemical Waste (solvents, liquids and solids, including persistant organic pollutants) - Biohazardous waste (inc. materials related to the Human Tissue Act, genetically modified materials and animal related materials) - Various laboratory filters (ie, air and water filters). - Radioactive waste - Glass (laboratory) - Plastics (laboratory) - Hazardous Waste (outside of waste streams already specified) 3.
