Abstract: Deliver an intervention aimed at providing a public health approach to reducing the impact of serious violence on young people and the wider community.Provide therapeutic counselling services for CYP aged 10-25 years who have been a victim, perpetrator or otherwise affected by serious violence and/or exploitation.Therapeutic counselling services to be trauma informed and include cognitive behavioural therapy identified techniques and principles, and/or eye movement de-sentisization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and/or dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) (as per the UK NICE guidance for therapeutic support for children).CYP who are still traumatised and therefore at risk may require a different therapeutic intervention focusing on reducing threat and establishing safety prior to re-processing therapy.Therapists delivering counselling must be either BACP or UKCP registered with continuous professional development.Clinical supervision should be provided for all therapists.Providers should have the capacity to work with up to 40 service users per year.Provide f...
