Description : Medway Council Public Health team are seeking a provider of point of care testing (POCT) devices to GP surgeries who are engaged with the NHS Health Check programme in Medway. The proposed solution must include:• 54 POCT devices to be supplied to GP Practices (number includes branch sites)• Devices to provide total cholesterol (TC) and TC/HLD ratio readings, as a minimum• Initial distribution/delivery of devices within agreed timescales• Initial delivery to include the required consumables for at least 20 tests• Initial training on use of the device to be provided to practice staff within agreed timescales• Provision of manufacturer's instructions for use and guidance on maintaining the machine• On-going technical support for the duration of the contract• On-going training support for the duration of the contract• Clear process for accessing technical and training support (e.g. service desk, telephone number, email address)• Processes for re-ordering of consumables• Internal quality control checks, to include a minimum of a daily 'go, no go' test• IQC record keeping/log sheets provided• All 54 devices to be registered with an External Quality Assurance SchemeOut of Scope• Blood glucose/ HbA1c testing• Recor...
