MFRS vehicles are repaired and maintained in-house by Merseyside Fire Services Engineering Centre of Excellence. The MFRS fleet currently comprises of 57 pumping appliances and 6 prime mover vehicles fitted with multi lift demountable body systems. Of these 55 of the pumping appliances and 6 prime movers operated by MFRS are built onto Scania chassis MFRS has a requirement for the supply of parts and materials to be used in the repair and maintenance of fleet vehicles.
