The Rough Sleeper Initiative (Rsi) Service Programme
The aim of these contracts is to be part of a continuum of provision delivered to rough sleepers through the Rough Sleeper Initiative Programme (RSI), those at risk of rough sleeping and those with histories of rough sleeping, that will support individuals off the street. As part of the RSI and alongside wider commissioned support and other funded provision for people at risk of rough sleeping and homelessness, the services will be part of a whole system approach, starting from the initial contact on the street with a person who may be rough sleeping, through to the provision of an accommodation or a reconnection solution and incorporating activity that aims to reduce the risk of a return to rough sleeping or accommodation break-down. This support will seek to address the underlying reasons for an individual rough sleeping to prepare them for a move out of homelessness and empower them to live independently in the community.Development and funding of homeless services, including the Rough Sleeper Initiative (RSI) 2022-25, 5 lots of services:
