- Derry City and Strabane District Council invites suitably qualified companies/agents to tender for the provision of Ships and Boats to participate in the Foyle Maritime Festival (FMF) 2026. The festival will take place over 4 days next summer, running from Thursday 25th until Sunday 28th June 2026 (subject to confirmation by 30 May 2025). Renowned as one of the largest maritime events to occur in Ireland and the UK, this bi-annual event attracted approximately 135,000 attendees when it last occurred in 2024, appealing to local, regional, national and international visitors.
