This service is designed to achieve a number of key targets including;(i) increased numbers accessing drug and alcohol treatment services (ii) quick access to appropriate support and treatment, (iii) relapse prevention support, (iv) reduce drug and/or alcohol related harm and (iv) clear routes into Talking Therapies and specialist treatment services for those who, through screening and follow up, had been identified as requiring such interventions.
