WC1802680 -CY-EPI-FY26/27-PBF-(EP0035) REPAIR THE FLAT ROOFS WATERPROOFING MEMBRANES AT THE NORTH AND SOUTH ELEVATIONS (WORKS)

THE PROJECT CONCERNS REPAIRS TO THE FLAT ROOF WATERPROOFING MEMBRANES OF BUILDING EP0035, INCLUDING THE REMOVAL AND REINSTATEMENT OF EXISTING SERVICES RUNNING ACROSS THE FLAT ROOF.

BUILDING EP0035 IS LOCATED AT THE EPISKOPI GARRISSON AREA OF THE SBAA AT THE ISLAND OF CYPRUS AND OPERATES DINING & RECREATIONAL FACILITIES FOR MILITARY PERSONNEL.

THE SCOPE OF WORKS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:

- BUILDING & CIVIL WORKS (B&CE)
o REMOVAL & REPLACEMENT OF EXISTING BITUMINOUS WATERPROOFING MEMBRANE (APPROXIMATELY 600M2).
o REMOVAL OF ASBESTOS FLAKING PAINT FROM AFFECTED SURFACES & REDECORATION.
o CARRY OUT REPAIRS TO EXISTING SURFACES AT WALLS AND SLABS AFFECTED.
o SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF NEW EDGE PROTECTION RAILINGS AT ROOF, COMPLETE WITH CONCRETE UPSTANDS AND WATERPROOFING.
- ELECTROMECHANICAL WORKS (M&E)
o REMOVAL OF EXISTING KITCHEN EXTRACTIONS FANS, HOODS/VENT DUCTS, CURRENTLY LOCATED AT THE ROOF & REINSTATEMENT AT COMPLETION OF WORKS.
o REPLACEMENT OF EXISTING HOT AND COLD SERVICES LOCATED ON THE ROOF.
o ISOLATION AND REMOVAL OF HEATING PIPEWORK CURRENTLY LOCATED THE ROOF & INSTALLATION OF NEW, WITH DIRECT FEED FROM THE PLANTROOM AREA.
