Description : Market Engagement- Early Intervention and Prevention services: Southampton City Council commissions a range of "Early Intervention and Prevention services" designed to provide the city's residents with information, advice, guidance, and support with matters which support their wellbeing. This includes support relating to finance, benefits, immigration matters, and special educational needs; support for residents who may be unsure which services are best placed to meet their needs, as well as befriending services for those who may be particularly vulnerable or at risk of social isolation. A number of relevant service contracts are due to expire in the next year and it is the Council's intention to undertake a procurement exercise relating to this type of service provision during the next 12 months. Existing and potential suppliers of such services are invited to participate in a series of four market engagement workshops "in person" that are taking place between January 2024 and May 2024 to assist the Council in the development of its commissioning intentions for the future of these services.
