- Portsmouth City Council is reopening the Skills Bootcamp Framework for the purposes of including Lots 19-21 This is an opportunity to deliver Skills Bootcamp training across the Solent as part of a series of skills interventions under the Skills for Life Programme. The Council is seeking suitably qualified and experienced training providers to develop in partnership with employers, and deliver Skills Bootcamps at Level 2 to level 5 in: Construction 1 - Minimum of 60 GLH up to a maximum of 16 weeks of delivery (expected minimum duration would be between 2-4 weeks). We would like this Bootcamp to focus on re-skilling and upskilling to provide new entrants into the Construction Sector into Junior roles. All Skills Bootcamps should include the Level 1 Health & Safety in Construction Environment and the CSCS Green Card, including booking the test and applying for the card on the learner's behalf (Including any necessary re-sits to enable learners to achieve). We would also expect Traffic Marshall/Banksman Training, Manual Handling, Training to support these individuals to engage with Construction Agencies and also work within the HMRC Construction Industry Scheme.
