- Description:
- TITLE Social Media Management Platform Ref SMBC 26061 The Communications team began using a social media management tool in 2024 as part of broader changes to the way the team works. A social media management tool enables the council to: • Understand what audiences and topics involving the council are trending on social media platforms • Listen proactively to understand reputational issues and risks, and then go on to strategically plan content and campaigns to ensure the council-s communications function supports the delivery of the council-s strategic objectives and helps boost reputation to aid with recruitment of staff and improved customer experience • Utilise marketing reports and analytics functions that are not available on native platforms to understand engagement across all channels • Measure the impact of campaigns and test messaging to understand what resonates with citizens across each channel • Regularly analyse data to make informed strategic decisions and identify opportunities to drive revenue for the council In the long term, as a part of the council's customer journey planning, a social media management tool will allow for social media data to sit alongside other customer service channels to join up data and provide a holistic view of customer feedback and satisfaction levels. This will support the council-s corporate priorities linked to the Customer Journey programme. Can you also register on FTS which is a government website we use for all procurements...
