- Sizewell C is a new nuclear build based in Suffolk, in order to comply with safety legislation and Sizewell C policy fire safety consultants will be required on-site to manage fire safe governance and training. Further scope is below:
• Provide relevant Fire expertise including an in-depth knowledge of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order (2005), Fire related aspects of the H&S At Work Act 1974 and other relevant legislation
• Provide relevant operational Fire experience including, Building Fire Strategies, Fire Risk Assessment, Fire Safety Plans & Fire Plans, Local Authority Fire Service Response and Requirements
• Provide via knowledge and experience, confidence and gravitas to senior & external stakeholders
• Advice and council to the Site Operations Site Lead, as the designated Person Responsible for Fire Safety at SZC
• Own the Site Fire Strategy on behalf of the Client / Principal Contractor
• Update / amend as appropriate as the site layout, utilities, services and people numbers change
Create and own relevant building / platform Fire Assessments and Plans on behalf of the Client / Principal Contractor
• Update / amend as appropriate as the site layout, utilities, services and people numbers change
• For all relevant buildings / platforms, create and execute plan of visits, assurance and audits, including associated Nuclear Site Licence Condition (... - Documents :
