Description:
The Works:- Stripping and re-slating of pitched roofs and dormer windows.- Replacing any rotten timber, including sarking boards and rafters.- Routering of all tongued and grooved sarking boards to remove the tongue to allow for improved ventilation throughout the roof void.- Installing a breather membrane below the new slating and reinforced 5U felt above the sarking boards.- Replacing all lead ridge cappings and replacing all lead flashings.- Stripping and replacing lead flat roofs in new lead in accordance with the Lead Sheet Association.- Cleaning the low-level lead flat roofs, then coating in a liquid plastics coating.- Replacing the life expired west facing cast iron rooflight and north facing single glazed timber window in like for like units.- Redecorating selected timber windows.- Replacing all gutters and downpipes in new cast iron.- Managing a LARC through a package of asbestos removal works.- Internal decoration works following the completion of the asbestos removal works and the reinstating of the walls and ceiling in plasterboard sheets.- Further miscellaneous works.
