- The University wishes to purchase a fermenter of 300 litre total volume that will primarily be used for microbial fermentation which can handle a range of cell types and carbon/nitrogen sources, some in the form of novel biomasses (often referred to as waste or co-product). Typically, this would be expected to be made up of a vessel, impellor(s), fermenter controller, probes, motor, and computer and would be supplied as ‘the fermenter- package.In addition, the University requires this to be sold and fitted with an electrical steam generator ‘steam generator- and a recirculating water chiller ‘recirculating water chiller-.
