Abstract: CCBC-s project opportunity is to develop a ground mounted solar farm of up to ~20 MW capacity, the largest of its kind in local authority ownership in Wales.A grid connection offer has been secured which provides for 15,306 kVA export on to Western Power Distribution-s network at 33kV. A provisional grid connection date has been agreed with Western Power Distribution (WPD) for Spring 2024 when WPD-s upgrade works at Upper Boat substation are due to have been completed.The council previously appointed a partner to act as technical consultant during the feasibility and pre-planning phases of the project, however their services are no longer available to the Council and the Council are therefore seeking to procure a technical consultancy partner to complete the project. - Documents :
