Description:
Cumberland Council wishes to commission a single supplier framework agreement for the provision of Social Care Services in HMP Haverigg from 1st November 2025. The Council guarantees to procure 1000 hours of care per annum. The capacity of HMP Haverigg to accommodate male prisoners is expected to increase in 2025 with a new 50-unit modular accommodation due to be completed in 2025, which will likely lead to an increased demand for care within HMP Haverigg. Although the minimum guaranteed hours are set at 1000 hours per annum, we expect demand on the service to grow as a result of the increase capacity of the Prison to accommodate additional male adult prisoners. The contract will commence on 01st November 2025 and will continue for a period of 12 months, unless terminated in accordance with the Conditions of Contract. There is the potential for a contract extension of one 12-month period, depending on both the success in achieving the required outcomes and availability of further funding. The estimated total value of the contract over the total contract period (including any extension period) is a maximum value of £127,700. but no guarantee is given as to the actual value of the contract.
