- Gateshead Council (the Council) is procuring a contract for a Waste Needs Assessment on behalf of a number of other local authorities in the North East.
The 7 North East waste planning authorities (WPAs) of Durham County Council, Gateshead Council, Newcastle City Council, North Tyneside Council, Northumberland County Council (including Northumberland National Park Authority area), South Tyneside Council and Sunderland City Council wish to appoint consultants to undertake a comprehensive waste needs assessment to inform the preparation and implementation of their Local Plans.
