Description : Reactive mechanical and electrical maintenance - based on hourly rates - working time only, travelling time is to be included in the rates and not to be charged separately. All work is in the Carlisle and surrounding area (Carlisle City Council District - includes Brampton, Longtown and Dalston). Planned electrical and mechanical maintenance - boiler servicing (to natural gas, LPG and oil appliances within commercial and domestic properties), emergency light, fire alarm, photovoltaic testing, as well as water hygiene and fire door checks. To be carried out as per the schedule and requirements detailed within Appendix 4. Water Hygiene - flushing of infrequently used outlets. To be carried out as per the schedule of properties detailed within Appendix 4.Fire Door Checks - To be carried out in accordance with statutory legislation and as detailed within the schedule of properties detailed within Appendix 4.Emergency call-out service - the contractor is to provide emergency call out cover for the period 5pm to 8am on weekdays; and 24-hour cover on weekends and Bank Holidays.
