Description:
Lewisham Council is seeking to commission six contracts with community and voluntary sector organisations to provide emotional wellbeing support to expectant and new parents in Lewisham.

The aim of the contracts will be to support expectant and new parents to stay resilient and emotionally well and develop confidence and social connections. The focus is on preventative support, or support that intervenes early to address low level mental health needs in pregnancy and the postnatal period (up to 1 year old).

The aim of this procurement process is to enable community and voluntary sector organisations to expand existing initiatives where these have shown early evidence of success.

The Council will be awarding contracts to a maximum of six organisations, following successful submission and evaluation of proposals. Contracts will be awarded for a year period (1st February 2026 to 31st January 2027) at the maximum values set out below. Each contract will include an optional extension of one year, which the Council will use at its discretion.
