Description : This PIN is to inform the supply chain that Open Nuclear with the National Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) is seeking techniques, technology or methodology such that NNL can carry out de-oxygenated leach tests on plutonium-containing samples in oxygenated environments.Interested technology providers should complete and submit an Open Nuclear application via the Open Nuclear website (https://opennuclear.nnlinnovation.wazoku.com). The challenge is open to any organisation who feel they can meet the technical requirements. The closing date for applications will be the 18 April 2024 at 12noon.Interested organisations should note that the issue of this PIN may not result in a full procurement exercise being conducted. The outcome of the Open Nuclear challenge will determine whether a full procurement exercise will follow.
