Description : The Council wishes to establish a Flexible Contracting Agreement for NHS Health Check and Smoking Cessation Services. The services will be split into two Lots as follows: o Lot 1: NHS Health Checks - One of Birmingham City Council's mandatory public health services is the NHS Health Check, which is provided by health professionals. It is a health examination for adults in England between the ages of 40 and 74. It is intended to detect early indications of dementia, type 2 diabetes, kidney illness, heart disease, and stroke. We are more likely to develop one of these conditions as we age. Finding measures to reduce this risk is assisted by an NHS Health Check. The examination includes a series of questions about a patient's health and lifestyle, including ones concerning physical activity, as well as measurements of height, weight, and blood pressure and a quick blood test to check cholesterol.
