- The FOMP (Foundation OpMet Programme) will be a Framework for a foundational learning and development programme in operational meteorology for the Met Office. The FOMP Framework aims to identify a single supplier with which the Met Office can co-design and co-deliver a new L& D programme for operational meteorologists based on the defined competencies and learning outcomes. The initial requirement will be for the co-development and co-design of the training course between the Met Office and the successful party. Subsequent call offs will be for the training courses as per Met Office requirements. It is anticipated there will be a minimum of one cohort of training per annum through the Framework.
