- The purpose of this Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to inform the market of a potential opportunity to participate in the Installations and Minor Works framework for the Medical Research Council (MRC) campuses on London, Oxford, and Cambridge. The MRC intends to engage with potential contractors through a Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) event and subsequent PME activities. The publication of this early engagement opportunity is a voluntary publication and does not represent a commitment by the MRC to initiate, run, or complete a full procurement competition in relation to a contract for the works described. The MRC supports world-leading medical research efforts across the biomedical spectrum, from fundamental lab-based science to clinical trials, and in all major disease areas. The MRC has embarked on a transformational journey of its estates with the aim of establishing world-leading scientific research centres, and achieve a carbon-neutral status by 2040.
