Description:
The City of London Corporation (The City) provides the usual local government services for the 'Square Mile', these include housing, refuse collection, education, social services, environmental health, and town planning.
The City Surveyors Department is responsible for the management of the City's operational and investment properties, and for commissioning refurbishment and improvement works to the City's buildings. It is the mechanical and electrical services works associated with the Chiller, Heating & Sprinkler systems, Fire Alarm, Lighting & LV Distribution Replacement including LV Panel and Electrical Re-wire Works, at the London Metropolitan Archives. Please note that the London Metropolitan Archives are now officially known as the London Archives
The City wishes to appoint Consultants for the whole design and construction process from suitably technically qualified and financially sound consultants. The Consultant will provide professional services as the Mechanical & Electrical Services Engineer for the design, tender and implementation of mechanical and electrical works.
The Consultant Mechanical Services Engineer will be responsible for producing a fully detailed specification of works and tender drawings to enable a competitive tender to be sought for the works. Once approval for the works is given, the Consultant will manage and control the works on site through to completion.
