- The Council is seeking views from potential providers on how best to deliver Adult Short Breaks services. We currently commission 19 beds and 1 emergency bed, across 4 sites.
We have engaged with current users of this service and redesigned the model. We are seeking to commission 14 beds inclusive of emergency usage, across 3 sites and to have a flexible outreach offer (either inclusive in the contract or as a separate contract based on responses).
The aim of this exercise is to understand the provider market, current and emerging practices as well as likely level of interest in the potential procurement activity that the Council may carry out. It is also an opportunity for developing relationships with providers and gain insight on how they would approach the delivery of the service.
